About Me

I'm Jess Crawford and welcome to my blog!

In short, I write about my depressing yet hilarious experiences with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). I'm not a doctor, scientist or neurologist, I'm just a daughter caring for my mum who was diagnosed in February 2019. Hopefully sharing my experience will raise awareness of FTD, help me to connect with others in a similar situation whilst also providing relatable content.

Aside from this, I am also a wife and step-mum living in Beverley, England. I work full-time whilst studying Digital Marketing at University, I'm taking part in FTD studies at UCL London and have a plan to raise as much money as possible for the Alzheimer's Society. To summarise, I'm the definition of 'spreading oneself too thin' but luckily for me, that's just how I like it!

Anyway, have a read of my story and don't be afraid say hi. I know this can be a lonely journey so please introduce yourself. Jess x
